This privacy policy describes how Black Friday Janitor Guide ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you visit this website.

Information We Collect

Black Friday Janitor Guide is a static website. We do not require you to create an account or submit personal information to read our guides. When analytics is enabled, the services below process usage and interaction data on our behalf only after you accept the privacy choice.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party services that may collect information as described in their respective privacy policies:

• Advertising partners (e.g. Google AdSense, Adsterra) — may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising via your browser settings.
• Google Analytics 4, when enabled, measures page views, traffic sources, device and browser information, approximate location, and interactions using cookies and online identifiers. Its script loads on our production website only after you accept. We disable Google signals and advertising personalization in this integration.
• Microsoft Clarity, when enabled, provides session replays and heatmaps of page interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and navigation to help us understand usability problems. It processes page content, device and browser information, and cookie identifiers. Its script loads on our production website only after you accept; we grant analytics storage and deny advertising storage. Data processing is also described in Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics, when enabled, is cookieless and collects aggregate page-view data separately from Google Analytics and Clarity.
• Cloudflare — our hosting provider, which may process basic request data for security and performance (and serve Web Analytics when enabled, see above).
• Comments (giscus, opt-in) — when the comment section is enabled, giscus.app loads an embedded GitHub view; viewing it exposes your IP address and browser info to that service, and signing in to comment is handled by GitHub under its own privacy policy.
• Embedded videos (YouTube) — pages with videos load thumbnail images from i.ytimg.com and, after you press play, the YouTube player from youtube-nocookie.com. Until you interact, no YouTube cookies are set.

Cookies

Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_* cookies; Clarity may set _clck and _clsk cookies. Analytics and advertising scripts wait for your acceptance. Rejecting does not limit access to any guides. Browser privacy settings, tracking protection, and content blockers can also restrict these cookies and requests.

Your Controls

Use Privacy settings in the footer to change or withdraw your choice. Withdrawing stops analytics and advertising on the next page load, removes accessible analytics cookies, and reloads the current page to unload existing scripts. You can also block analytics requests or remove cookies through your browser's privacy, tracking-protection, content-blocking, and site-data controls. Removing local cookies does not erase data already received by these providers. We cannot delete third-party-domain or HttpOnly cookies from this page.

Children's Privacy

Black Friday Janitor Guide is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
